MEASURES:  78 inches x 67ins, 198cm x 170cm

This classic adire eleko design is called "ori mi pe" which literally means "my head is correct". Yoruba tradition has it that each individual selects his or her "ori", which represents destiny in life, prior to birth. The cloth name therefore means "I will have good destiny."  It is in excellent condition and dates to circa 1960s. Has one lighter patch near top left in photo.
