A fine version of the classic hand-painted adire eleko design known as "Ibadandun " or "Ibadan is sweet". Ibadan is the major Yoruba city and was an important centre of adire making into the 1960s. Design includes combs, spoons, birds etc in great variety. In excellent condition. Dates to around the 1950s -1960s.
