| Status
in Britain: Red Data Book Additional: European Red Data Book; Biodiversity Key Species. This is an extremely rare moss in the UK, and its few known sites are in North Wales woodlands. It occurs as continuous mats on the flat surfaces
of boulders subject to some water flow.
The plant is a yellowish-green in colour with leaves that are ovate and tapering to a point. The leaves are without a nerve.
